Our rural communities have been facing serious challenges of inadequate water supply systems. Most of them have been fetching and drawing water from unprotected sources. Realizing that cholera outbreak could negative impact on their health, Dr. Abel Kayembe partnered with United Purpose, an international NGO to drill and construct water points in the constituency. The photo depicts an MP commissioning the borehole at Mgunda village in TA Dzoole, Dowa District in Malawi.
Since most communities are still lacking safe water supply systems, I am therefore calling upon other NGOs and well wishers to support our constituency with financial resources so that we may construct more water points.
