11th Panchen Lama Gedhun Choekyi Nyima turns 32 today. At aged 6, he was recognised as the 11th Panchen Lama by His Holiness the Great 14th Dalai Lama of Tibet on 14th May 1995. Following His Holiness' announcement, he and his parents disappeared on 17th May 1995. Chinese government admitted withholding them somewhere. Yet, his whereabouts remain unknown and he has been missing in the public eye for 26 years. Every year on April 25, the world marks his birth anniversary.
