According to authorities, a 23-year-old male was detained on Sunday in relation to the gang rape of a child.
The pursuit to apprehend the other two defendants is reportedly ongoing.
According to Gyanpur Circle Officer Bhuvneshwar Pandey, a 45-year-old villager enticed a 14-year-old girl from the hamlet. The man, who was detained on Sunday, and a second person allegedly raped the child for five months after she was forcibly brought to Mumbai.

After escaping the clutches of the accused, the girl arrived here on June 27. She told the police about her experience, and as a result, a case was filed against the three accused under the IPC and POCSO Act, according to Pandey.
