Renault is all prepared to launch the new-gen Duster on November 29 for all global markets.
The new leaked images of the new Renault Duster have surfaced online ahead of its global debut, revealing essential exterior and interior details about the new-gen midsize SUV.
As reported before, the new-gen Duster SUV borrows styling cues from the Dacia Bigster concept and has also been developed by Renault's subsidiary brand Dacia.
It is expected that the new-gen Duster will be launched in India in 2025.
In terms of size, the new Duster is bigger than the old one but continues to get its tough and chunky look.
The front fascia of the new-gen Duster gets design elements like Y-shaped LED Daytime Running Lamps, chrome elements on the slim grille, vertical air vents, circular fog lights and a huge lower grille shaped like a flat bull-bar.
The side profile of the new-gen Duster features design elements like large squared-off wheel arches, new black wheels, roof rails and spoiler like the Bigster.
However, it continues to have a tapering rear quarter glass to maintain a connection with the previous-gen Renault Duster. At the rear, it gets distinctive V-shaped tail-lights while the old Duster's big rear haunches have been played down a bit.
Talking about the interiors of the new-gen Duster, it is completely revamped as it is equipped with new features such as a new larger touchscreen infotainment system, in-built navigation system, chrome garnished AC vents, 360 degree view camera, front and rear powered windows, dual-fabric seats and multiple USB charging ports. In terms of safety, it gets features like cruise control, three pointer seat belts, blind-spot monitoring and multiple airbags for added safety.
The new Duster is expected to be launched with three engine options - a 120 bhp, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine; a 140 bhp, 1.2-litre petrol hybrid engine and a 170 hp, 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine. In India, Renault is considering strong hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions for the new Duster to match the efficiency of a diesel engine as diesel won't be available as an option.
