When your 37 weeks pregnant, your baby is still about packing a half an ounce per day or half a pound a week. In fact, until the end of week 38, they are technically considered "early term." At this age the average fetus weighs about 6 pounds even though boys are more likely to be heavier at birth than girls.
Baby’s stretching and moving
It's a bit crowded in your uterus, so your baby will not be able to kick as much. Instead, your baby's probably stretching, rolling a bit and wiggling all of those which you'll be able to feel.
Practicing for birth
Your tiny little one is rehearsing for their big day, stimulating breathing by inhaling and exhaling amniotic fluid, sucking their thumbs, blinking and pivoting from side to side. One day you would feel their bottom on the left side, the next it would be flipped around to the right.
Baby’s head is huge!
An interesting fact: At birth your baby's head will ve still growing, which will be roughly the same circumference ad their chest.
Fat starts developing on their shoulders and hips which causes little dimples in those cute elbows, knees and shoulders, along with creases and folds in the neck and wrists.
