55 athletes from Haryana will show their mettle in the 37th National Games Goa.
Rajkumar Mittan, Secretary, Athletics Haryana revealed that total of 55 athletes from Haryana, including 22 male and 33 female athletes and 5 team officials will participate in the 37th National Games Goa. In men's category, Vikrant Panchal Faridabad 400 meter race, Krishna Kumar Bhiwani and Somnath Chauhan Hissar 800 meter race, Aman Chaudhary Kurukshetra and Manjeet Rameshwar Hissar 1500 meter race, Ajay Jhajjar 5000, Gurpreet Ambala 5000 and 10000 meter race, Harish Bhiwani 10000 meter race, Gaurav Rohtak and Jashansingh Doohan Panchkula 400m Hurdle Event, Balkishan Bhiwani and Shankar Lal Bhiwani 3000m Staple Chase Event, Nirbhay Singh Bhiwani, Sachin Suhag Rohtak Discus Throw, Ajay Kumar Panipat Pole Vault, Inderjit Singh Bhiwani Shot Put, Anjay Kumar Sonipat, Gaurav Kumar Sonipat will participate in Hammer Throw, Hardeep Bhiwani, Sandeep Kumar Sangwan Mahendragarh will participate in 20 Km Race Walk and Mohit Panipat will participate in Decathlon event. In the women's category, Nancy Jhajjar and Himashree Jhajjar in 100 meter race, Nirmala Sheoran Jhajjar in 200 meter race, Himanshi Malik Rohtak and Kiran Pahal Sonipat 400 meter race, Pooja Rohtak 800,1500 meter race, Bharti Sonipat 5000 meter and 10000 meter race, Sonika Bhiwani 10000 race, Nanhi Hisar and Sammi Bhiwani 400 meter hurdle event, Preeti Lamba Faridabad 3000 meter staple chase event, Pooja Fatehabad and Rubina Yadav Rewari high jump, Mimansa Dahiya Karnal and Renu Grewal Bhiwani triple jump, Nidhi Karnal and Vanshika Ghanghas in pole vault event. Bhiwani, Manpreet Kaur Ambala and Shiksha Charkhi Dadri shot put, Shweta Singh Sonipat and Sunita Devi Bhiwani discus throw, Renu Sonipat hammer throw, Priyanka Singh Charkhi Dadri and Shilpa Rani Jind javelin throw, Jyoti Bhiwani and Monica Jhajjar in 20 km race walk event, Pooja Charkhi Dadri and Tanu Hisar will bring glory to the state of Haryana by participating in the Heptathlon event, Mohit Kumar Sonipat, Parveen Kumar Sonipat, Sumit Chahal Jind, Kapil Raika Sonipat and Lakshadweep Hisar 4x400 meter relay race.
