Finally finally and finally! You are pregnant 🤰
Point to remember is - Prenatal testing options available in the first trimester include the NIPT blood test, the NT ultrasound, and CVS.
Let's focus on baby's Development - First of all "Your baby is about the size of a blueberry🫐". Eyes, noses, mouths, and ears of your infant are beginning to appear more defined. Longer arm and leg buds are developing. Beginning to form are your baby's esophagus and stomach. The tube that carries food from your baby's mouth to the stomach is called the esophagus. This week also marks the beginning of the liver and pancreas development in your kid. Your baby's brain is at the top of the neural tube, which has formed and closed on both ends and will eventually become their spinal column. Currently, it consists of the forebrain, midbrain, and hindbrain. Amazingly, during pregnancy, your baby's brain grows by an average of 250,000 cells every minute.
Let's talk about symptoms / body changes - Frequent urge to pee, food aversions, Heightened sense of smell, Excessive saliva, mood swings, Constipation etc. (Especially when concealed by baggy clothing) Your stomach may still appear to be essentially the same. On the other hand, your expanding breasts can be conveying a different message.
Tip - But not everyone is like that! If you've had a positive pregnancy test even though you don't feel pregnant (or if your symptoms come and go), you're probably pregnant. Nobody is sure why some women don't experience pregnancy symptoms, but it doesn't necessarily signal that your pregnancy is in trouble.
Your To-do liste for this week is - connect with your partner, do your best and eat well, and enjoy!
Stay tuned for more 👋
