Recently, researchers exploring Mars' surface discovered a fragment of the rocky planet that was grinning back at them.
As per news reports, the face of what looks to be an enormous Martian teddy bear, complete with two beady eyes, a button nose, and an upturned mouth, can be seen grinning at the camera of NASA's Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter in an image posted by The University of Arizona.
According to UA, the MRO was cruising around 156 miles (251 kilometres) above the Red Planet when it took this image of an odd collection of geological formations on December 12, 2022.
What exactly is happening here?
According to a statement published on UA's High Resolution website, it is most likely merely a broken-up hill in the middle of an old crater.
