It's Monday morning, and everybody must be feeling blue, but then again waking up to a weather like today's surely will make you feel all depressed.
It's all cloudy and gloomy, along with bad air quality.
Delhi's air quality showed a light improvement but remained in the 'very poor' category with an AQI of 375 on Monday, in some areas the pollution level crossed 450 at certain areas.
As per the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) data recorded at 7 am, the air quality at Pusa Road stood at 370, in the Lodhi Road area, the air quality was hovering at 338 and in the IGI Airport area, it was at 359.
The weather department has also predicted a small respite from bad air for the national capital with the possibility of very light rain/ drizzle today.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted a cloudy sky throughout the day, with the possibility of light rain or drizzle on Monday.
Light intensity rain/drizzle is expected over and adjoining areas of isolated places of Delhi ( Seelampur, Shahadra, Red fort, Preet Vihar, Rajeev chauk, ITO, India Gate, Akshardham, Lodi Road, Nehru Stadium, Defence Colony, Lajpat Nagar, Malviyanagar.
The weather department has forecasted partly cloudy sky, shallow to moderate fog till 29 November. From 30 November to 2 December clear sky with shallow fog is predicted.
Hopefully, Delhi residents can expect a slight relief from the prevailing dry weather as the light rain brings moisture to the region. The cloudy conditions may also contribute to a marginal rise in minimum temperatures over the coming days.
