Well !! This could be little blunt , but this is something either me or any other woman who travels in public transport face -be it on the road, rail , air or water. "Please Stand away from the doors "- And i rushed into the metro and looked around to find a space between two men - One looked like a 20-23 year old college boy and the other an old person, could be 50-52 years ( Am very poor in guessing the age of people , tho :) Till the next station ,which was probably 2-3 mins away, everything was fine . Suddenly I could feel something unwelcome near my breast , and I realized that the so called 50 year old was trying to sneak a feel of my breast with his elbow. Well, I wasn't sure , dismissed initially thinking am being a paranoid, and sat straight trying to avoid anything what may happen ,with the sling bag on my lap. This man got a call and he started talking over the phone to someone , all the while keeping his left hand elbow as close as touching my body , and then I was sure it was purposely done. The station which I had to get down was approaching and I stood up - Dont know whether it was fortunate for him or me (To be decided :)) As I walked towards the door, gave him a stare , which am sure he understood the meaning of . Don't know whether groping comes under sexual assault or Rape, but for sure its a crime . How does it feel to be subject to unwanted sexual attention on your morning commute?
