Aam/Mango is considered the king of all fruits, we eagerly wait for summers to come to enjoy this wonderful fruit. Mango is not just sweet but delicious. We can have as many as we want. There are many different kinds of mango. They vary in color, shape, flavor, and seed size. Although mango skin can be green, red, yellow, or orange, its inner flesh is mostly golden yellow.

Let's know about some benefits mangoes have and we aren't aware of. 

Nutrition: one cup of raw mango provides 100 grams of calories, mixture of protein, fat, carbohydrates, sugar and fiber. Mangoes are a good source of vitamins and minerals. It is said that we should eat mangoes as it has Vitamin A which is good for eyesight. Mangoes have copper, calcium and iron that are good for people who are dieting. It gives them a lot of energy during dieting. 


Prevention from Cancer: yes, you read it right,  many people don't really know about this. But a survey conducted in Japan in the year 2014 shows that carotenoid-containing fruits and vegetables such as mangoes may reduce the risk of colon cancer. Also, the Skin Cancer Foundation suggests that a diet high in beta-carotene content can help protect against skin cancer. Orange fruits and vegetables, such as mangoes, contain beta-carotene. They also suggest that it can boost the action of the immune system against disease. Thus we can say that Consuming mangoes can help you protect and strengthen your body in several ways.
