Abhaya -Empowering slum girls in Delhi:

Ina uniqueprojectcalled "ABHAYA* launched with Delhi Police and NCPCR - Shakti

Foundation is-currently empowering 1500 slum girls of 57 slums in New Delhi

Supported and launched by Delhi CP Rakesh Asthana 'Abahya" is going to be a path breaking project in empowering slum girls and making them community leaders. With a special training training program that includes physical

strength building. soft skills, right nutrition guidance, gynec issues, adolescent, mobile and porn addictions, understanding POCSO and working NCPCT- this certifiable training program allows the slum girls to shine and excel eaders. Abhaya is going to be a nationwide campaign soon as Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan are the states to be covered in the

coming phase.

The girls will be organizing workshops to discuss health, hygiene issues, self defense against anti social elements. We want Abaya to set a chain reaction . We want to help build physical, mental and spiritual strength of these girls .
