The Afghanistan Cricket Board has confirmed the schedule for AfghanAtalan’s upcoming cricket tour to Sri Lanka and home series against Ireland. The Sri Lanka tour includes a one-off test, three ODIs, and three T20Is from February 2 to 21. AfghanAtalan will then host Ireland in the UAE for a test, three ODIs, and three T20Is from February 28 to March 18. The matches against Ireland include a one-off test followed by ODIs and T20Is. The addition of three ODIs to the Sri Lanka tour aims to enhance the overall exposure and strengthen relations between the two nations. The Chairman of the Afghanistan Cricket Board, Mirwais Ashraf, expressed enthusiasm for the comprehensive tour, emphasizing the challenge and opportunity it presents for AfghanAtalan. Etisalat Afghanistan Telecommunications Company will be the main sponsor for the Sri Lanka tour and the title sponsor for the home series against Ireland.
