During the United Nations Security Council meeting, Afghan women activists voiced concerns, urging the inclusion of Afghan women’s perspectives in resolutions. They emphasized economic empowerment and expressed worries about humanitarian aid programs. Highlighting the oppressive policies of the Taliban, Afghanistan's Permanent Representative to the UN Human Rights Council urged the international community to take measures in support of women’s rights.
