The Afghanistan national cricket team faced Bangladesh today in the second match of the 20-over cricket series at Sylhet International Stadium and lost by six wickets to hand over the trophy and the game to their opponent. This match was held on 17th due to rain.

Bangladesh won the toss at the beginning of this game like the first match and decided to bowl. Afghanistan team lost seven players in 17 overs and set a target of 117 runs for Bangladesh. A few hours after the start of the first period of this match, it started raining in the stadium and the game was stopped for a long time.

After the rain, the umpires decided to use the DLS rule to deduct three overs from the 20 overs. A decision that the technical staff and Rashid Khan, the captain of Afghanistan, were not happy with.

In the first period of this game, Afghanistan's bowlers could not stand on the wicket. Only Azmatullah Umarzai was able to make 25 runs and the rest of the players left the game very early.

In the Bangladesh team, Tasgin Ahmad shone in bowling and was able to take three wickets from the Afghanistan team.

In the second half of the match, when it was the Bangladesh team's turn to bowl, this team completed the set target with 119 runs in 16.1 overs, while losing only 4 wickets, and with the result of 0-2. Bangladesh won and lifted the championship trophy of the 20-Aura tournament.

Among Afghanistan's bowlers, Azmatullah Omarzai and Mujeebur Rehman dismissed two Bangladeshi players each and Leighton Das of Bangladesh scored 35 runs.
