Afghanistan's Ashihara Karate team is preparing to participate in the world competition.

The training of Afghanistan's national Ashihara karate team will start from today, 8 August to participate in the world Ashihara karate competition. Afghanistan is going to participate in the world competition of Ashihara Karate Japan with two athletes named Fayaz Dorandish and Abdulshaker Timuri.

The World Ashihara Karate Competition will be held from November 2 to 5, 2023, in Matsuyama, Japan. For this reason, not long ago, the technical staff of the Afghanistan Ashihara Karate National Team, under the supervision of the Federation of this sport, in a competition held between the members of the national team in Parwan, checked the level of preparation and technique of the athletes, and among the ten athletes, Fayaz Dur Andish in 70 kg and Abdul Shaker Timuri in 60 kg were selected to participate in the world competition in Japan.

These two athletes also won the national championship of Ashihara Karate in Afghanistan.
