The Afghanistan Cricket Board’s Selection Committee has confirmed the Afghanistan U19 Squad for the upcoming ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup, commencing on January 19 in South Africa. Naseer Khan is expected to lead the team, supported by deputy captain Numan Shah.

The squad features Ali Ahmad Nasar, making a comeback after missing the ACC U19 Men’s Asia Cup. Hassan Eisakhil, Arab Gul Momand, and Zahid Afghan are also included post their Youth Tri-Series participation in Johannesburg. ACB CEO Naseeb Khan expressed confidence in the team's preparation and anticipated success in the event.

The squad includes: Naseer Khan (C), Numan Shah (VC & WK), Ali Ahmad Nasar, Hassan Eisakhil, Arab Gul Momand, and Zahid Afghan, among others. Afghanistan, placed in Pool D with Pakistan, New Zealand, and Nepal, kicks off against Pakistan on January 20.
