An old video of Rohit Sharma's daughter is getting viral on the internet, in the video, which had originally surfaced a year ago, where his daughter, Samaira can be heard as saying when asked by a reporter, where is your father?

To which she gives a positive reply,  "He is in a room, he is almost positive & within one month he will laugh again."

Rohit is not playing in the current T20I series of India against Australia. He hasn't played a single game in the shortest format since India's T20 World Cup semi-final exit in November 2022. Hardik Pandya has mostly led the Indian team in T20Is since then.

The 36-year-old India skipper has played 148 T20Is scoring 3853 runs at a strike-rate of nearly 140 with four hundreds.
