Take a walk through the valley of death
Where freedom fighters gave their last breath

Where Ahmad Shah Massoud stood his ground
Against the Taliban, his enemies' sound

He had a red right hand, a warrior's soul
Fighting for justice, he never lost control

He inspired a nation, a hero of the land
His legacy lives on, his vision still stands

In the face of oppression, he never backed down

He leads his troops with honor and renown

Against all odds, he fought for his people’s right

To live in peace and not in darkness of light

Though he’s gone, his sprit remains
In the mountains, his memory sustains
A beacon of hope, a light in the dark
A revolutionary leader, with a powerful spark
