Mumbai, October 2nd, 2024 - Air India Manager, Sandeep Bal Krishna Pednekar, a service engineer and manager with Air India, has achieved an extraordinary feat by setting a new record in the OMG Book of World Records and Pednekar sang 153 songs by the legendary Kishore Kumar for a staggering 11 hours and 40 minutes, demonstrating both his vocal stamina and his deep passion for music.
Pednekar, who considers singing his lifelong passion, expressed gratitude to his family for their unwavering support. "My wife, Snehal Sandeep Pednekar, and my daughter, Siddhika Tukaram Kedar, have always encouraged me to pursue my love for music. They were the ones who pushed me to participate in the OMG Book of World Records, and I couldn't have done it without them," he said.
The marathon event saw enthusiastic support from many, including co-singers Sudhir Gavde, Anagha Deshpande, Shobha Shinde, and Ninad Sawant, who showcased their versatility by singing in both male and female voices. Other contributors included Deepa Ramchandani, Malvika Saraf, Pradeep Motwani, Deepak Shinde, and Sanjay Tiwari, making it a memorable and collaborative celebration of music.
Dr. Anita Gupta, Prof. Dr. Dinesh Gupta Aanandshree, and Mr. Shekhar Saroj acted as adjudicator on behalf of the OMG Book of Records, verifying the event and ensuring all guidelines were met.
