Air India on Thursday cancelled its flight from New Delhi to Tel Aviv. The airline cited operational reasons for this. The decision to cancel the flight comes in the backdrop of increasing tension due to the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas. Air India operates four flights from Delhi to Tel Aviv every week. The airline informed on its official website that it has cancelled flights AI-139 from Delhi to Tel Aviv and AI-140 from Tel Aviv to Delhi on August 1 due to operational reasons. Passengers with confirmed bookings for travel on both these flights will be provided a one-time waiver on rescheduling and cancellation charges.
