Akshay Kumar, promoting his film "Khel Khel Mein," recently discussed his relationship with wife Twinkle Khanna, highlighting their differences. In an interview with Galatta India, Kumar revealed that while they share a love for early sleep and games like Rummy or Ludo, they are otherwise "poles apart."

He emphasized the importance of respect and space in their relationship, noting, "There are 36 traits in people, not necessarily they all have to be common in a couple. But if you have that one trait of respecting each other, I think it’s equivalent to having all the traits you need in a relationship.”

Kumar also contrasted their communication styles. He prefers diplomacy and caution in speech to avoid hurting others, whereas Khanna is more outspoken, even bluntly critiquing films. “I believe people should keep quiet. They should not comment on everything. Words can harm you a lot,” he said, reflecting on the potential damage caused by careless remarks.

Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna, married since 2001, have two children, Aarav and Nitara. Despite their differences, Kumar stresses that respect and mutual understanding form the foundation of their enduring relationship.
