An illegal immigrant residing in Alabama, originally from Guatemala, recently pled guilty to voter fraud after it was discovered that she used a stolen passport to vote in the 2016 and 2020 elections.
But this isn’t just an isolated incident. The Heritage foundation has discovered that there has been at least 1,546 proven instances of voter fraud, with 1,313 criminal convictions.
Look, I’m not saying that this level of voter fraud would actually make a difference in our elections. But it does beg the question: is this just the tip of the iceberg?
What does somebody get out of committing voter fraud? Why would somebody take that huge risk to make a vote that won’t actually change the outcome of the election? Are there really thousands, maybe even tens of thousands, of political fanatics who are just so obsessed with their preferred candidate that they are willing to risk going to federal prison for them?
Whatever the reason is, we must figure out the motives of these people and ensure that there is no greater conspiracy. Remember, voter fraud doesn’t need to be widespread to sway the outcome of an election, it only needs to be targeted at small, specific spots to make a difference. Wow. You will not believe this.
