Algoza (Double Fluet) is an centuries old traditional  wind instruments played by musician in Rajasthan, Gujarat, Panjab, Haryana.

Its a very dificult instrument to learn and play as one has to blow air constently into these pipes in order to play it and for which artists have to master the practice of circuler breathing.

This traditinal instrument is now slowely dying from our music and there are very few master artists who can play it perfactly.

In 2016 I formed a band 'Algoza Ensemble' with two master algoza players Habib Khan & Shakur to bring this heritage instruments in the mainstream and promote it.

Since then I have presented in many festival, public and private events.

These pictures I have taken from recent show at Oberai Vanya Vilas in Ranthambore where Algoza Ensemble did a show for a private audiences.

To save our culture & heritage  music we have to find new ways  and build new platforms to showcase them.
