Alia Bhatt, who became an entrepreneur with her kids' wear brand Ed-a-Mamma in 2020, is set to release her first children's picture book this week. The book, titled Ed Finds A Home, is part of a series aimed at fostering a love for nature among children. This marks Ed-a-Mamma's debut in publishing, in collaboration with Puffin, an imprint of Penguin Random House India.

Alia announced the book's release on Instagram, sharing a playful video featuring animated characters of a girl and a dog alongside her. The caption hinted at the upcoming release and invited followers to a children's literature festival, StoryVerse, where the book will be launched on June 16 at Jio World Drive in Mumbai.

Launched in 2020, Ed-a-Mamma offers children's, teens', and maternity wear. Last year, Reliance Brands acquired it for ₹300-350 crore. Alia also owns Eternal Sunshine Productions, which produced her film Darlings on Netflix. She is currently co-producing the film Jigra and has upcoming roles in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love & War and an untitled YRF Spy Universe film. Alia married actor Ranbir Kapoor in 2022, and they welcomed their daughter Raha later that year, revealing her face publicly for the first time on Christmas.
