All 41 workers trapped inside Uttarakhand's Silkyari tunnel since November 12 have been successfully evacuated today. The rescue operation, led by dedicated personnel and rat-hole miners, culminated in the workers being pulled out through a 57-meter steel pipe on wheeled stretchers. Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised their courage and patience, stating, "It is a matter of great satisfaction that after a long wait, our friends will now meet their loved ones." The successful operation involved the efforts of various organizations, including NDRF, SDRF, Uttarakhand Police, and the armed forces, as acknowledged by Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami confirmed that none of the rescued workers are in critical condition, expressing gratitude for the combined efforts. The rescue has been commended as a victory of patience, hard work, and faith.
