Christmas is meant to be a tranquil season. An occasion to eat, drink, and be joyful, or to unwind and sit back by the fire (after all, it is a holiday). But Christmas may be a stressful time of year for many of us, especially for those who travel during the bustling holiday season. Keep in mind your travel advice whether you are travelling home for the holidays or spending them abroad!
And the most important advice from me is to PACK WISELY!
While it would be nice to get home looking like Santa Claus with all of your gifts for your family and friends, keep in mind that you will be charged extra for exceeding the baggage allowance.
Prior to weighing your case, pack your necessities first. If you have any extra room, consider buying a few small presents for your loved ones.
You may also simply order the presents online and have them delivered to your house. Only bring the most crucial gifts for the kids if you are planning to travel for Christmas and think about renting an extra luggage. Before leaving for the airport, do not wrap the gifts because security may want to check your suitcase and then all of them will be confiscated!
