In continuation of their deeply rooted tradition, the Ambani family has initiated Anna Seva, a community food service, in the villages surrounding Reliance's Jamnagar township.
This benevolent gesture marks the beginning of the pre-wedding festivities for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, and it serves as a means to seek blessings from the local community. The Anna Seva is anticipated to benefit approximately 51,000 residents in the Jamnagar vicinity and will extend over the next several days.
Today, at Jogvad village near the Reliance township in Jamnagar, members of the Ambani family, including Mukesh Ambani, Anant Ambani, Radhika Merchant, Viren Merchant, Shaila Merchant, and Radhika's grandmother, personally served a traditional Gujarati dinner to the community members from nearby villages, fostering a sense of unity and garnering blessings for the forthcoming celebrations.
Following the dinner, attendees were treated to a traditional folk music performance in the form of Dayaro, featuring the renowned Gujarati singer Kirtidan Gadhvi.
The Ambani family's commitment to the age-old adage, 'Manav seva hi Madhav seva' - 'Service to humanity is service to God,' is evident in their actions. Aligning with this principle, they have chosen to commence every significant occasion in their family with acts of kindness and service, reinforcing their dedication to the welfare of the community.
