Anees Public School, powered by Minerva Academy, has made history by winning the CBSE Under 17 and Under 19 North India Cluster championships. The teams' remarkable performances have earned them a spot in the national rounds, scheduled to take place in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
Anees School's Under 17 team dominated the tournament, conceding zero goals throughout. Their journey to the title began with a 5-0 victory over Ganga International School in the pre-quarterfinals, with Tenzin Topchin scoring twice, alongside goals from S. Karanjit Singh and Satyarth's double. The quarterfinals saw a 7-0 thrashing of Career Point Gurukul, with A. Revanth netting four goals, accompanied by strikes from Kushagra Iyer and Gourav Dubey's brace.
The semifinals witnessed a resounding 9-0 win over Saint Soldiers, with Kushagra Iyer scoring twice, Satyarth, A. Revanth's hat-trick, S. Karanjit Singh, Tenzin Topchin, and Rishab Kulaste all contributing to the tally. The final match against St. John resulted in a 2-0 victory, courtesy of goals from Satyarth and Kushagra Iyer.
Similarly, the Under 19 team replicated their counterparts' success, also conceding zero goals. They began with a 3-0 win over Mukat Public School in the Round of 16, thanks to goals from Elishan Ezhung, Mughabe Aye, and Romario L.G. The quarterfinals saw a 6-0 triumph over Bhai Mastana School, with Elishan Ezhung, Romario L.G., Mughabe Aye's double, and Eio Chame Nongtdu contributing to the scoreline
The semifinals yielded an 8-0 victory over Star Plus, with Elishan Ezhung, Romario L.G.'s hat-trick, Eio Chame Nongtdu's double, Akhilesh Atreya, and Mughabe Aye all scoring. The final match against St. Soldier resulted in a 3-0 win, courtesy of Elishan Ezhung's double and Tenan Hakun's strike
