You have got to be kidding me. Of all the absurd, nonsensical things Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez can do, she decided to introduce articles of impeachment against Justice Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito.

Really?

This is the highest level of political pandering and recklessness.

AOC wants to set a standard that if you disagree with the rulings of the Supreme Court, then you can just kick those members you don't like off of it. You know, you’d think a sitting member of Congress would understand the importance of the checks and balances provided by the constitution - the three seperate branches of government that each work to check the power of the others.

But that doesn't matter to AOC and the squad members who also sponsored the articles of impeachment.

Do you know why this is truly absurd? Of course it's absurd to impeach judges because you don't like them. But here's the reality. She would have never introduced these articles of impeachment if a Republican was president or if she thought that a Republican would be the president.

Because the reality is that it's not about the conduct of the justices at all, it never was. It's about their ideological leanings. The reality is that AOC wants to stack the court with liberal, democrat-appointed judges, not impartial ones, so that she and her Democrat colleagues can make the Supreme Court just another arm of the legislative branch.
