He explained that radiation from phones does not pose a risk to users, and regulatory limits on radiation are set a full ten times below the level where scientists have found evidence of harm.
The discrepancy between the French authorities’ conclusions and Apple’s assertions may stem from differences in testing methods. The ANFR, the French watchdog tasked with assessing radiation, uses a testing methodology that assumes direct skin contact between the device and the user. This approach differs from the testing method employed by Apple, potentially explaining the divergent findings.
