Exciting Launches to Out For
Toyota Motor is gearing up to launch the Urban Cruiser Taisor, a compact SUV that draws inspiration from the Maruti Suzuki Fronx. This marks Toyota's fourth collaboration with Maruti Suzuki in India. The Taisor will stand out with its unique grille, bumper, and alloy wheel designs. Potential buyers will have engine options including a 1.0-liter BoosterJet turbo petrol and a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine. There's also talk of a hybrid powertrain option.
Mahindra's XUV300 is getting a facelift with notable design updates. Expect to see new LED headlights, a redesigned grille, and modern alloy wheels. Inside, a larger touchscreen infotainment system and a digital instrument cluster await. The XUV300 facelift might also introduce a panoramic sunroof, a first for its category.
Maruti Suzuki's Swift, a favourite among hatchback enthusiasts, will see a facelift featuring a new exterior design, cutting-edge features, and an improved engine setup. The updated Swift will be powered by a new three-cylinder petrol engine equipped with a 12V mild hybrid system for better fuel efficiency. It may also include Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) for increased safety.
Tata Motors will unveil the Altroz Racer, a performance-oriented version of the Altroz premium hatchback. It will boast a 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol engine with 120 bhp and 170 Nm of torque. The Altroz Racer will sport race-inspired design elements and interior upgrades for a sporty vibe.
Finally, Skoda plans to bring back its flagship sedan, the Superb, offering a luxurious driving experience with a 2.0-liter turbo petrol engine that delivers 189 bhp and 320 Nm of torque. The sedan will feature advanced driver assistance technology and a 360-degree camera system. Its reintroduction through the Completely Built Unit (CBU) route is likely to place it in the premium segment.
