Are we Living in an era of Blue Ticks?
Well life has become a blue tick, and there can be no denial on that. One's legitimacy of ones identity is proven by do they have a blue tick or not?
After the choas and hue and cry about the Twitter Blue Tick, now another technology giant Google has also introduced a blue tick checkmark, as a mode of identification next to a sender's name.
This Blue Checkmark or tick, will verify the identity of gmail users and is done to minimise scams, which is free at the moment.
According to Google’s official blog, this new feature will help individuals identify and differentiate legitimate senders from impersonators.
Right now the search-engine giant’s email service is currently offering a blue checkmark to only brands. They need to verify their brand logo on the BIMI platform to add a blue checkmark to their profile
Gmail tweeted, "Look for the blue checkmark next to a company's name in your emails to make sure they're the real deal before you respond. Learn more 👉 goo.gle/42kNVJb"
