Arsenal Interested in €50m Italian Centreback Riccardo Calafiori!

Arsenal are eyeing Bologna and Italy centre-back Riccardo Calafiori to bolster their defense this summer. The 22-year-old is one of several players they are considering for the position however the Italian is on top of their list as per reports.

Calafiori played every minute of the Euro 2024 group stages for Italy but missed the round of 16 match against Switzerland due to suspension. Despite Italy's early exit, his performance stood out. At the club level, Calafiori was crucial in helping Bologna secure a fifth-place finish in Serie A, earning them a spot in next season's Champions League for the first time.

According to a report from Italy via Football 365, Bologna had received a €47 million offer from Arsenal for Calafiori, but the Italian club rejected the bid as they are looking for more money. Bolaogna are reportedly asking €50 million or above for their defender as Chelsea are also interested. It is not known if the reports of Arsenal's bid are true as of now.
