At least 15 people died when an Indian passenger bus fell into the Marsyangdi river in central Nepal on Friday. According to reports, there were 40 passengers in the bus. Thus, there were a total of 42 people in the bus including the driver-conductor. All the passengers are said to be from Maharashtra. The bus had entered Nepal from Belhiya check-point (Gorakhpur) of Rupandehi on August 20 with an 8-day permit. The accident took place at Aina Pahada in Tanahun district.A team of 45 personnel led by Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Madhab Paudel of Armed Police Force Nepal Disaster Management Training School has reached the accident site. Rescue operation has been launched. According to initial reports, around 15 bodies have been recovered. 16 have been rescued safely. 11 people are still missing
