Preparations for the inauguration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya commenced on January 16, with the idol of Ram Lalla scheduled to be brought into the temple today. While the main ceremony is slated for January 22, the series of ceremonies began on January 16, leading up to the idol placement in the sanctum sanctorum on January 18.

Champat Rai, the general secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, shared that the Ram temple will open for 'darshan' to the general public from January 23. Prime Minister Modi expressed, "The entire country is Rammay (obsessed with Lord Ram),'' highlighting Lord Ram's significance beyond devotion, symbolizing good governance in social life. The upcoming inauguration marks a monumental milestone in the cultural and religious landscape of Ayodhya.
