Richard Linklater and Kim Krizan co-wrote the 1995 romantic drama Before Sunrise, which Linklater also directed. It follows Jesse (Ethan Hawke) and Céline (Julie Delpy) as they meet on a Eurail train and get off in Vienna, where they spend the night together. This is the first film in the Before trilogy.

Before Sunrise is a must-watch movie because it features so many small, fascinating real-world elements. The two characters have great chemistry, and there are numerous heartfelt exchanges of speech throughout the film.

There is no possible way that a romantic classic could be improved.
