I think Ben Affleck as Jack Ryan was highly underrated but he did justify the Tom Clency character and did his best to play Jack Ryan.

Although the Ben Afflect starring "The Sun of all Fears" was both criminally underrated both as Jack Ryan movie and an action-thriller in general.

Affleck portrays a younger more bourne-style Jack Ryan than seasoned ones.

He does bring the nervy intensity and even critics praise Affleck's conflicted character.

And just leave the character. Just look at him, he's such a beauty. How can we even deny that?❤️😍

He as Jack Ryan was darker and more grounded, and altogether a stronger revision of Clancy's gero that the movie gets credit for out of every Jack Ryan character.
