What breastfeeding position worked best for you? Usually the most common breastfeeding position is cradle hold, holding baby in one arm with their head in resting at your elbow crease. But did you know this position actually isn't the best for starting out. It is actually better when you are more confident with feeding and have established a good latch! This position can reduce your baby's backward head movement which is needed for them to get a good latch (aka a mouthful of the boob). So try these 4 positions instead! They have so many benefits:
• Allows free head movement for baby
• Gives you more control
• Allows baby to get a good latch
• Perfect for preemies and multiples
• Comfortable following c/s and epidural (when mobility is limited)
