BLACKPINK's Jennie Joins JTBC's "My Name is Gabriel" as a Lead Cast Member

On September 3, JTBC confirmed that BLACKPINK’s Jennie will be joining the variety program “My Name is Gabriel.” The show, produced by PD Kim Tae Ho, known for the hit MBC program “Infinite Challenge,” involves the cast experiencing the lives of others abroad for 72 hours.

Jennie will appear in episodes 13 and 14, scheduled to air on September 27 and October 4. In these episodes, she will take on the role of Maria, the owner of a farmhouse bed and breakfast in a village near Rome, Italy. During her time as Maria, Jennie will spend 72 hours living the life of a peer born in 1996, handling various tasks such as picking up guests, cooking, preparing for banquets, and conducting cooking classes.

The newly released poster features Jennie introducing herself as Maria, with background images showing her interacting with peers and smiling while cooking. Viewers are eagerly anticipating Jennie's transformation into her new identity as Maria.

In addition to Jennie, the show also features seven other "Gabriels," including Park Bo Gum, Park Myung Soo, Yeom Hye Ran, Hong Jin Kyung, Ji Chang Wook, Dex, and Gabee. The group poster showcasing all eight cast members has also been revealed.
