It is a safe process

Basically, it is a sple 4-step process:
1. Registration- You come in and get yourself registered.
2. Physical- A small Physical Test of yours is done which includes Donor's Body Temp., Pulse, Haemoglobin, BP to enssure it is safe to give blood.
3. Donation- Approx. 1 unit of blood is taken out generally from an adult Male.
4. Refreshments- Once the process is complete, you are given refreshments like Friuits, Sandwiches, Juice, etc.

A healthy donor can donate blood, every 56 Days and platelets, every 7 Day(not mre than 24 times an year).
