What's the point of even having blue ticks when microblogging websites like Twitter has become a space for trolling and abuse.

Blue tick claiming authenticity, and with that authenticity is it fine to troll someone?

How's it even a safe space for social media users if they can't freely express their opinion or point of view, but are blocked or their accounts of disabled?

How does blue tick even helps us?

I don't think it helps in anyway.

It's just a capitalist money making idea. Not really ideates to create legitimacy or authenticity over social or even try to create safe space on the internet.
