Brazil struggle to cope without Neymar

Brazil crashed out of Copa America losing on penalties to Uruguay in the quarter finals. They were rather poor as a whole and came second in the group behind Colombia.

The squad were anything but cohesive, unlike Uruguay. They also lack a real superstar to carry them forward. Vinicius Jr has been deemed as the Ballon D'or favourite but he has never really turned up for Brazil. Even in this, he was suspended for the Uruguay game.

Brazil have sorely missed Neymar. Even at his worst, he always turned up for Brazil. The new generation have to do much better if they have to replace his impact.
