The T.V. Series that changed how T.V. shows were made and presented. Breaking Bad was created by Vince Gilligan. It tells the story of Walter White an underpaid, overqualified and overworked Chemistry teacher at a high school in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It's a story of an average man breaking bad and going into a life of crime and drugs. Walter White is played by Bryan Cranston who won 4 Emmys for the show. The show is often compared with a Shakespearean tragedy and greed is said to be Walter White's Tragic flaw. The conflict in the series is about greed, passion, family and thrill.

The two together go through many hardships, ups and down in thei relationship but with time even this relationship starts to deteriorate. Walter watches when Jesse's girlfriend dies and does nothing. Walter's relationship with his wife throughout the series just deterioates, they constantly have fights. Walter starts to become evil and power hungry. He kills Gus, a man who's a kingpin, thus making Walter the next one. Walter's alias in the drug world is Heisenberg. It's his transformation into Heisenberg that the series is all about. Slowly but surely he gets more and more greedy. In the end he loses everything his money, his family and friends. He backstabs Jesse and ultimately he's backstabbed by mercenaries for the money he has. While talking to Skylar he finally admits that he did all of it for himself because he felt alive and it meant something to him. He's able to leave some money for his family by blackmailing his old partners. Before dying he also manages to kill the mercenaries and frees Jesse. Through the character of Walter we see the fall of another tragic hero due to his hubris(pride).
