Arsenal may be unsuccessful in pulling an English international away from Chelsea rivals

Declan Rice, the captain of West Ham, is reportedly ready to leaving the Irons this summer and joining London rivals Chelsea.

The 24-year-old midfielder has recently risen to the top of the market, and it is rumoured that he is getting ready to leave the London Stadium this summer.

At the end of the season, teams like Chelsea, Manchester United, and Arsenal are anticipated to compete for Rice's services, with the latter listing him as their top transfer target.

Rice, however, might decide against moving to the Premier League's top team in order to stay at Stamford Bridge.

The England international spent eight years working his way through the academy ranks at Cobham before making the switch across the city to the Hammers, where he has since become an irreplaceable figure at the heart of their midfield.
