The Die Hard star Bruce Willis is diagonosed of aphasia a brain disorder and he is stepping away from his acting career.
Ex wife and actor Demi Moore announced this news on her social media today. Aphasia affects a person's ability to express and understand written and spoken language. It can occur suddenly after a stroke or head injury or develop slowly from a growing brain tumour or disease.
Willis, 67 acting career began in the early 1980s but he did not become a household name until later in that decade - first after starring opposite Cybill Shepherd in the ABC TV series Moonlighting and then in his 1988 performance as John McClane in the first Die Hard film.
Since then, his films including The Sixth Sense, Armageddon and Pulp Fiction.
