Afghanistan's national futsal team faced Kyrgyzstan today in its first match in the Central Asian Futsal Championship (CAFA) in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, and won 5-4. The futsal teams of Afghanistan, Iran, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan are participating in this tournament.

Afghanistan national futsal team won 4-2 in the first half today; But Kyrgyzstan team conceded two goals in the second half and the game was tied 4-4 , Until the Afghan players were able to score the fifth goal in the last minutes of the match and win 5-4.

The Afghan team won this game while Kyrgyzstan is 11th in the futsal ranking of Asia and Afghanistan is 22nd. Afghanistan's next match is against Uzbekistan, one of the strongest futsal teams in Asia, on Monday, tomorrow.

Majid Mortezaei, the Iranian coach of Afghanistan, said after the game: "It was a difficult game, first we conceded two early goals; But the Afghan players continued to play well and we were able to win the first half. In the second half, the opponent was behind by two goals, they increased the pressure and the game was tied. "In the end, we were able to win the game with Mehran goal."
