The (CAFA) Futsal Championship will be held from 23rd JULY to 30th JULY in the city of Dushanbe, Tajikistan, and the first match of the Afghanistan national futsal team will be against Kyrgyzstan on Sunday 23rd JULY.
The Afghanistan national futsal team with its Iranian coach Majid Mortezaei, who is preparing for the futsal championship of Asia, had established a training camp in Iran a long time ago and then went to Lebanon for three friendly matches to play with the national futsal team of this country.
The Afghanistan national team won its first two games in Lebanon with the results of 3-2 and 4-3, respectively, and tied with Lebanon 2-2 in the third game. Lebanon is ranked 64th in the world and 12th in Asia and higher than Afghanistan.
