CAFA Futsal Tournament 2023; Afghanistan national futsal team left for Tajikistan
The Afghanistan Football Federation announced that the Afghanistan national futsal team, after finishing its training camp in Iran, left for Tajikistan on Friday to participate in the first round of the Central Asian Futsal Championship (CAFA). CAFA Futsal tournament will start in two days in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.
The first match of the Afghanistan national futsal team is today, against Kyrgyzstan. Afghanistan, Iran, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan teams are participating in CAFA futsal competitions.
The Afghanistan national futsal team, with its Iranian coach Majid Mortezaei, has prepared itself for the CAFA Futsal Championship and the Asian Nations Cup by holding several training camps and playing friendly games in Iran and Lebanon. Although it is important for the Afghanistan national futsal team to get results in the CAFA matches; But the main focus of this team is a strong presence in the preliminary competitions of the Asian Futsal Nations Cup.
