I didn’t know when I was recruited for softball at Harvard University that my team, or I, would be treated any different than any other men’s team. I learned after my freshman year, the coach who recruited me would be replaced by a full time coach (what?!?). I will be forever blessed being a college athlete and will never forget my athletic career, which taught me all of the life lessons I needed to be successful in life and work.
